Travel Information

The city of Aalborg is conveniently connected with numerous daily flights from Copenhagen, and daily connections from Amsterdam and Frankfurt. The Aalborg Airport is located 7km from the city center.
The participants can either take a taxi (about 10 minutes of drive to the city center and 17 minutes to the location of the venue) or use the bus line number 12 from the airport and get off at Esbjergparken bus stop (about 8 minutes on foot from the location of the venue). The bus ticket can be bought on the bus for 22 DKK (approx. 3 Euro). City buses do not accept credit cards. We suggest to bring with you some cash, preferably coins.

Venue

The talks will take place in Scandic Hotel, Aalborg Øst (see map aside). All meeting rooms are located on the ground floor and offer both natural daylight and direct access to the hotel's green areas. The conference fee includes coffee breaks and lunches for two days of workshop.

DISCLAIMER: there are two Scandic Hotel in Aalborg: Scandic Aalborg City and Scandic Aalborg Øst. The one where the conference takes place is Scandic Aalborg Øst. Take it into consideration before booking a room in the wrong hotel.

Social Dinner

We are delighted to invite all participants to a celebrative dinner in honour of Kim G. Larsen. The dinner will take place at the last floor of Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg, (see map aside) with an exclusive panoramic view of the city of Aalborg.
